The payment will range from 450 to 3,100 UAH depending on the category, and is to be made by 24 August.<\/p>\n<div class=\"news-summary-box\">\n<p><strong>Briefly about the main points<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The assistance is intended for categories of people specified by law, rather than for all citizens.<\/li>\n<li>The highest amount \u2013 3,100 UAH \u2013 is set aside for people with Group I war-related disabilities and those who have rendered outstanding services to the Motherland.<\/li>\n<li>Combatants and those injured during the Revolution of Dignity will be paid 1,000 UAH.<\/li>\n<li>In certain circumstances, you may contact the Pension Fund of Ukraine until 1 November.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2>What amounts has the government approved?<\/h2>\n<p>The Cabinet of Ministers\u2019 resolution provides for 3,100 UAH for people with Group I war-related disabilities and those who have rendered outstanding services to the Motherland. The amount of assistance they receive depends on the status determined by the decree.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1,000 UAH \u2014 to combatants, injured participants in the Revolution of Dignity and specified categories of former juvenile prisoners.<\/li>\n<li>650 UAH \u2014 to specified family members of those killed or deceased, as well as to certain widows and widowers who have not remarried.<\/li>\n<li>450 UAH \u2014 to war veterans, certain former prisoners who were forcibly taken away to work, and the children of those who fought against the National Socialist regime.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Who will receive the money automatically and how to apply<\/h2>\n<p>The Pension Fund has announced that pensioners who receive a monthly lifetime cash allowance, housing subsidies or concessions on utility bills, who are not serving in the armed forces, will have the benefit paid in August alongside their regular payment.<\/p>\n<p>For serving veterans, the Pension Fund of Ukraine transfers funds to the accounts of military units, institutions or organisations. The Fund advises checking whether the military unit or employer has details of the individual\u2019s veteran status.<\/p>\n<p>Individuals who are entitled to benefits but are not pensioners, recipients of subsidies or benefits, and are not in service should apply to their local Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) office. Applications may be submitted at the Fund\u2019s service centre or a Centre for Administrative Services, by post, or via the Pension Fund\u2019s web portal using a qualified electronic signature. The required documents include proof of identity and status, a tax registration number (if available) and bank details.<\/p>\n<p>People who acquire the necessary status by <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/suspilstvo\/den-nezalezhnosti-ukrainy-2026-zakhody\/\">24 August<\/a>, but who have not received the funds by 1 October, may contact the Pension Fund. In such cases, the payment can be claimed until 1 November 2026.
