Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, chairman of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia, confirmed the strike. The upper part of the building has been damaged, and debris lies scattered around it.<\/p>\n<p>Pertsovsky reported that railway staff are already dealing with the aftermath of the impact. The full extent of the damage at the station is still being assessed.<\/p>\n<h2>A night-time attack affected several districts in the Odesa region<\/h2>\n<p>An air raid alert was declared in the Odesa region at 03:26. The Air Force reported groups of drones, including jet-powered ones, moving in from the Black Sea, as well as \u00abBanderole\u00bb-type UAVs. At around 03:30, some of the drones were heading towards Odesa and Chornomorsk.<\/p>\n<p>During the attack, the military also detected missiles coming from the direction of the Black Sea and issued warnings of a missile threat to Zatoka, Chornomorsk and Odesa. It has not yet been established exactly what type of weapon was used to damage the railway station in Rozdilna.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, Russian troops attacked port infrastructure in the Izmail district. According to the local military administration, thanks to the air defence system, no damage, fatalities or injuries were reported there.<\/p>\n<h2>In August, railway facilities in the Odesa region had already come under attack<\/h2>\n<p>The latest strike took place nine days after the attack on a passenger train\u2019s locomotive in the Berezivskyi district. On 13 August, a Russian jet-powered drone struck the locomotive, killing the driver and his assistant.<\/p>\n<p>Later that same day, a Russian drone attacked yet another <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/main-news\/ataka-droniv-ukrzaliznytsya-poshkodzhennya-bez-zhertv\/\">diesel locomotive<\/a>, which was carrying out shunting operations.
