Filming of the new episodes began in the UK in the summer of 2026. For the purposes of the production, the local Hope Cove House was refurbished and given a new on-screen name \u2014 the Sandcastle Hotel.<\/p>\n<p>They were spotted on set <strong>Brooker<\/strong>. It has not yet been revealed what story the episode being filmed at this location will tell.<\/p>\n<h2>The creative team is working on the new episodes<\/h2>\n<p>Bisha K. Ali, also known for the Marvel series *Ms Marvel*, is working alongside Brooker on the eighth series. The executive producers include Jessica Rhodes, Annabel Jones and Louise Sutton, whilst Mark Kinsella is a co-executive producer.<\/p>\n<p>In January, Brucker said he was aiming to make the new series \u00abmore Black Mirror than ever\u00bb. He compared the selection of episodes to a music album, in which the episodes differ in genre and tone but all have their place within the overall structure.<\/p>\n<h2>Following the direct sequel to the seventh season, no details of the new series have been revealed<\/h2>\n<p>The previous season was released in April 2025. It included \u00abUSS Callister: Into Infinity\u00bb \u2014 the first direct sequel to a standalone episode in the series\u00ab history.
