The investigation also recorded damage to around 130 houses and other civilian structures.<\/p>\n<div class=\"news-summary-box\">\n<p><strong>Briefly about the main points<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The SBU has launched an investigation into the Russian strike on warehouses in the village of Mila.<\/li>\n<li>A drone strike and the detonation of ammunition claimed at least 37 lives.<\/li>\n<li>Proceedings were initiated under the sections of the Criminal Code relating to the crime of aggression and negligent conduct in military service.<\/li>\n<li>Around 130 houses and other civilian structures have been damaged.<\/li>\n<li>An SBU coordination centre is operating at the scene.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2>What circumstances are the investigators looking into?<\/h2>\n<p>A pre-trial investigation is being conducted into <em><strong>Article 437 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong><\/em> on the crime of aggression and <em><strong>Article 425<\/strong><\/em> regarding negligence in the performance of military duties. SBU investigators are working in collaboration with other relevant authorities, whilst prosecutors are establishing all the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.<\/p>\n<p>The initiation of proceedings under Article 425 means that the investigation is separately examining the possible improper performance of duties by a military officer. This is a procedural classification which, at this stage, does not establish the guilt of a specific individual, their actions or a causal link with the consequences.<\/p>\n<h2>On-site work and established consequences<\/h2>\n<p>SBU personnel have been on the ground from the very outset and have set up a command centre to coordinate efforts to contain the emergency.
