The building was damaged as a result of the strike, and some of the customers\u2019 parcels were destroyed. Local media are reporting on the consequences of the strike. Part of the structure has been destroyed, windows have been smashed, and parts of the fa\u00e7ade and the premises where parcels may have been stored have been damaged. According to the information available, <strong data-start=\"1193\" data-end=\"1255\">Some of the parcels that were inside the building have been destroyed<\/strong>. The exact number of lost parcels and the total amount of losses are currently being ascertained.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"60ut2b\" data-start=\"1332\" data-end=\"1363\">What will happen to customers\u2019 parcels?<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1365\" data-end=\"1483\">\u00ab<a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/suspilstvo\/nova-poshta-oholosyla-novi-taryfy\/\">Nova Poshta<\/a>\u00bbtraditionally reimburses customers for the declared value of parcels that have been destroyed as a result of Russian attacks.\".<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1485\" data-end=\"1823\">Following previous attacks on terminals, the company also diverted cargo flows to backup sorting centres and routes in order to avoid widespread delivery delays. For example, following the attacks in late August, the company announced compensation for destroyed consignments and the use of backup logistics.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1825\" data-end=\"1983\">Customers whose parcels were held at the damaged facility in Odesa should check the status of their consignment via the app or their \u00abNova Poshta\u00bb account.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"18wsjjw\" data-start=\"1985\" data-end=\"2032\">\u00abNova Poshta\u00bb is changing its logistics operations in response to Russian attacks<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2034\" data-end=\"2138\">The latest attack came following the company\u2019s decision <strong data-start=\"2076\" data-end=\"2137\">to overhaul the entire parcel storage and sorting system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2140\" data-end=\"2448\">On 31 August, it emerged that freight and post offices across Ukraine would gradually be converted into local warehouses. The company intends to distribute goods and postal flows across a larger number of smaller facilities rather than concentrating them in large logistics centres.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2450\" data-end=\"2521\">The reason is a series of Russian strikes on terminals and sorting centres.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2523\" data-end=\"2749\">Just a few days ago, Russia destroyed two \u00abNova Poshta\u00bb sorting centres \u2014 <strong data-start=\"2599\" data-end=\"2625\">in Sumy and in the Kyiv region<\/strong>. Russian aircraft struck the terminal in Sumy with four guided bombs.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"iotwgg\" data-start=\"2751\" data-end=\"2799\">Russia is systematically attacking the postal infrastructure<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2801\" data-end=\"2870\">Nova Poshta\u2019s infrastructure is regularly targeted by Russian attacks.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2872\" data-end=\"3100\">Since the start of the full-scale war, dozens of the company\u2019s branches, depots, terminals and sorting centres have been damaged or destroyed.
