The new arrangements will apply every day <strong data-start=\"390\" data-end=\"410\">from 01:00 to 05:00<\/strong>, said the capital\u2019s mayor, Vitali Klitschko. At present, the curfew begins at midnight and ends at 05:00. Meanwhile, the city\u2019s public transport will operate <strong data-start=\"618\" data-end=\"642\">one hour longer<\/strong>, \u2026 so that Kyiv residents have more time to get home. The end time remains unchanged \u2014 05:00.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1366\" data-end=\"1433\">Consequently, the night-time restrictions will be in force for four hours instead of five.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1435\" data-end=\"1715\">The city authorities also plan to adjust public transport services in line with the new arrangements. The underground and surface transport services will be able to carry passengers for about an hour longer; however, it is advisable to check the specific changes for individual routes once the updated timetables have been published.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1c3yr7b\" data-start=\"1717\" data-end=\"1762\">Restaurants and shopping centres will not remain open any longer<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1764\" data-end=\"1929\">According to <strong>Nickname<\/strong>, a reduction in the curfew this time <strong data-start=\"1827\" data-end=\"1928\">will not mean that restaurants, shopping centres and other establishments will automatically remain open<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1931\" data-end=\"2054\">In other words, for city residents, the main practical change will be an extra hour for getting around the city and for public transport services.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2056\" data-end=\"2267\">Previously, when the curfew was shortened in 2023, Kyiv simultaneously extended the opening hours of public transport, shops, shopping centres and restaurants. The Cabinet of Ministers has also called for the capital\u2019s underground service to be run more efficiently and, where necessary, for the number of overground transport services to be increased.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2782\" data-end=\"3050\">At the same time, the curfew itself <strong data-start=\"2818\" data-end=\"2837\">is not cancelled<\/strong>.
