New internet highway for Ukraine to be laid across the Black Sea, bypassing Russia<\/h2>\n

A digital corridor between Europe and Asia<\/h3>\n

Construction starts in 2027 of the new international internet backbone Kardesa<\/strong>, which will pass through Black Sea<\/strong> and will connect Ukraine, Bulgaria, Turkey and Georgia<\/strong>.
The project is being implemented to Strengthening the digital security of the region<\/strong> and reduce dependence on routes passing through Russia.<\/p>\n

Power and value<\/h3>\n

The Kardesa system will provide additional bandwidth of 500 Tbps<\/strong> and will become one of the most modern submarine telecommunications networks in Europe.
Thanks to the new infrastructure Ukraine will get more stable and faster international traffic<\/strong>, and will also strengthen its role as a a digital hub between Europe and Asia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Investments and partners<\/h3>\n

The project cost is estimated at over 100 million euros<\/strong>. The construction will be financed jointly by European and regional telecoms companies with the support of the governments of the participating countries.
It is planned that the pipeline will be laid in several stages<\/strong>, and the final connection of Ukraine to the system will take place at the end of 2028<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The new digital route will allow you to to completely bypass Russian territory<\/strong>, This will reduce the risk of data interception and cyber attacks.
