The company confirmed that its facility had been hit and that staff had been evacuated. According to preliminary information from Ozon, there were no casualties. Operations at the centre have been halted, and some logistics operations in Saratov and the surrounding region have been temporarily suspended.<\/p>\n<div class=\"news-summary-box\"><strong>Briefly about the main points<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>UAVs attacked the Ozon logistics centre in Saratov.<\/li>\n<li>A major fire broke out on the premises of the complex.<\/li>\n<li>The staff were evacuated; there appear to be no casualties.<\/li>\n<li>The centre\u2019s operations and some delivery services have been temporarily suspended.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-section-id=\"1q56f9a\" data-start=\"799\" data-end=\"845\">Ozon has confirmed the strike on the logistics centre<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"847\" data-end=\"1034\">Ozon\u2019s press office reported that a UAV had come under attack <strong data-start=\"902\" data-end=\"943\">the company\u2019s logistics centre in Saratov<\/strong>. Following the strike, a fire broke out on the premises, and the emergency services arrived at the scene.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1036\" data-end=\"1197\">The company stated that the staff had been evacuated promptly. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1199\" data-end=\"1514\">Reuters also confirms damage to the Ozon logistics hub in Saratov and a fire following an attack by Ukrainian drones. The agency notes that Saratov is an important industrial centre in the Russian Federation, home, in particular, to a large oil refinery and other industrial and military facilities.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"r3ehxa\" data-start=\"1516\" data-end=\"1560\">A huge column of smoke rose above Saratov<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1562\" data-end=\"1740\">Footage posted on social media shows <strong data-start=\"1604\" data-end=\"1667\">thick black smoke and flames in the area of the logistics complex<\/strong>. The fire could be seen from residential areas at a considerable distance.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1742\" data-end=\"1889\">At the moment <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/world\/udar-belgorod-ozon-zupynyv-robotu\/\">Ozon<\/a> No details have been given regarding the area affected by the fire or the full extent of the damage to the depot. Russian emergency services are continuing to work at the scene.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1891\" data-end=\"2102\">At the time of publication, there has been no official statement from the Ukrainian Defence Forces confirming this specific target. It is therefore correct to refer to the UAV attack as one that Ozon and the international media have linked to Ukrainian drones.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"11i4bsy\" data-start=\"2104\" data-end=\"2149\">Ozon deliveries in the region have been temporarily suspended<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2151\" data-end=\"2406\">Following the attack, the company <strong data-start=\"2172\" data-end=\"2243\">removed goods from the display window that had been stored at the damaged premises<\/strong>. Some orders are to be delivered from other logistics centres, whilst those that cannot be redirected may be cancelled.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2408\" data-end=\"2653\">The acceptance of FBO deliveries and certain FBS consignments has also been temporarily suspended. The acceptance of new orders and deliveries to customers in Saratov and the surrounding region are currently limited whilst the company reorganises its logistics routes.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1pb3144\" data-start=\"2655\" data-end=\"2693\">This is not the first blow to Ozon\u2019s logistics operations<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2695\" data-end=\"2776\">Over the past few weeks, Ozon facilities in Russia have been targeted by UAVs on several occasions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2778\" data-end=\"3005\">On 22 August, following an attack, the company\u2019s logistics centre in the Samara Region caught fire. More than 500 employees were evacuated at the time; there were casualties, and operations at the complex were suspended indefinitely.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3007\" data-end=\"3201\">The following day, the following was damaged <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/world\/udar-sklad-krasnodar-cmm-k-ozon\/\">Ozon warehouse in the Orenburg Region<\/a>, whilst on 24 August the company reported attacks on logistics centres in Krasnodar and Makhachkala.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3203\" data-end=\"3385\"><strong>Ukrmedia<\/strong>\u00a0notes that over the past few weeks, the following have come under
