This was highlighted by MEP Michael von der Schulenburg, who warned of the risk of further escalation. This refers, in particular, to companies near Munich, where mass production of long-range strike drones with a range of up to 1,000\u20131,500 km is underway. German intelligence services have already warned defence companies of the threat of Russian sabotage, cyber-attacks and subversion.<\/p>\n<div class=\"news-summary-box\"><strong>Briefly about the main points<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Russian Ministry of Defence has published a list of 21 European companies linked to the production of drones for Ukraine.<\/li>\n<li>Three of the companies on the list have direct links to Germany.<\/li>\n<li>These include manufacturers and suppliers of components in the Munich and Hanau areas.<\/li>\n<li>Mass production of long-range drones for Ukraine has already begun in Germany.<\/li>\n<li>German intelligence services are warning of the risk of Russian sabotage and cyber-attacks.<\/li>\n<li>Schulenburg believes that such cooperation increases the risk of direct escalation between Russia and NATO countries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-section-id=\"1d1no3u\" data-start=\"1344\" data-end=\"1399\">Russia has published a list of 21 European companies<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1401\" data-end=\"1632\">Back in April 2026, the Russian Ministry of Defence published the names and addresses <strong data-start=\"1483\" data-end=\"1526\">21 companies in various European countries<\/strong>, which, according to Moscow, are involved in the production of attack drones or components for Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1634\" data-end=\"1848\">This information was subsequently confirmed in documents from the German Bundestag. A parliamentary question stated that <strong data-start=\"1744\" data-end=\"1809\">Three of the companies on the list have direct links to Germany<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1850\" data-end=\"1884\">Among them, the German media named:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1886\" data-end=\"1993\">\n<li data-section-id=\"sdgjxt\" data-start=\"1886\" data-end=\"1918\"><strong data-start=\"1888\" data-end=\"1900\">Airlogix<\/strong> in the Munich area;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"4ku4b6\" data-start=\"1919\" data-end=\"1943\"><strong data-start=\"1921\" data-end=\"1942\">DaVinci Avia GmbH<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"18ie9ui\" data-start=\"1944\" data-end=\"1993\">engine manufacturer <strong data-start=\"1965\" data-end=\"1984\">3W Professional<\/strong> in Hanau.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1995\" data-end=\"2285\">The German publication Correctiv reported that the list could in fact be regarded as <strong data-start=\"2071\" data-end=\"2131\">A potential map of targets for Russian hybrid operations<\/strong>. Following its emergence, the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution warned defence companies of an increased threat.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1i9cq5e\" data-start=\"2287\" data-end=\"2345\">Long-range drones for Ukraine are to be manufactured in Germany<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2347\" data-end=\"2433\">Moscow is paying particular attention to the German-Ukrainian project <strong data-start=\"2408\" data-end=\"2432\">Airlogix and Auterion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2435\" data-end=\"2703\">The companies have set up a production facility for attack drones in Germany. According to the *Handelsblatt*, these are drones with a range of <strong data-start=\"2556\" data-end=\"2587\">between 1,000 and 1,500 kilometres<\/strong>, which can be used to strike targets deep within Russian territory.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2705\" data-end=\"2765\">Mass production had already begun in the Munich area in September.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2767\" data-end=\"3024\">According to n-tv, as part of a contract awarded by the German government, plans are in place to manufacture <strong data-start=\"2846\" data-end=\"2887\">more than 5,000 long-range drones<\/strong>. The programme is estimated to cost around \u20ac300 million, and the contract is due to be completed by mid-2027.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3026\" data-end=\"3191\">Germany is therefore moving from simply financing Ukrainian production to locating part of its production capacity directly on its own territory.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1ugie9r\" data-start=\"3193\" data-end=\"3243\">Schulenburg warns of the risk of direct escalation<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3245\" data-end=\"3424\">Member of the European Parliament <strong data-start=\"3268\" data-end=\"3297\">Michael von der Schulenburg<\/strong>, who has consistently advocated for negotiations with Moscow and criticised the further escalation of the war, drew attention to the risks of such an approach.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3426\" data-end=\"3584\">In his recent speeches, he has pointed out that the line between <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/politics\/zelenksiy-narada-diplomatiya-pidtrimka\/\">military support for Ukraine<\/a> and the direct involvement of European countries in the war is becoming increasingly unclear.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3586\" data-end=\"3769\">According to his reasoning, if weapons manufactured in Germany are used to launch attacks on Russian territory, Moscow could use this as a pretext for further escalation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3771\" data-end=\"3933\">Shulenburg had previously stated quite clearly that calls had already been made in Russia to attack targets in Germany, although no such strikes had yet taken place.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3935\" data-end=\"3985\">This is the politician\u2019s own view, not an assessment by the German Government.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1cjir40\" data-start=\"3987\" data-end=\"4047\">German intelligence services see a real threat from hybrid attacks<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4049\" data-end=\"4131\">At the same time, Berlin is taking the possibility of more than just verbal threats seriously.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4133\" data-end=\"4333\">Head of the Thuringian State Office for the Protection of the Constitution <strong>Stefan Kramer<\/strong> stated that the publication of the names of German companies could be part of <strong data-start=\"4273\" data-end=\"4332\">Russia\u2019s strategy of intimidation and psychological warfare<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4335\" data-end=\"4398\">According to him, such lists serve as guidelines for:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"4400\" data-end=\"4485\">\n<li data-section-id=\"16hry5s\" data-start=\"4400\" data-end=\"4413\">espionage;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"c0p4rn\" data-start=\"4414\" data-end=\"4426\">cyberattacks;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"17wipp2\" data-start=\"4427\" data-end=\"4438\">acts of sabotage;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1ickabk\" data-start=\"4439\" data-end=\"4485\">attempted assassinations of the heads of defence companies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4487\" data-end=\"4635\">German intelligence services believe that the threshold for Russia to employ such methods in Europe has been lowered in recent years.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4637\" data-end=\"4836\">Following the publication of the Russian list, the authorities in Hanau even approached the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution regarding the inclusion of a local company on the list.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"16npthm\" data-start=\"4838\" data-end=\"4909\">Moscow has already described Western defence companies as \u00ablegitimate targets\u00bb<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4911\" data-end=\"4981\">This is not the first time that Russian officials have made threats against NATO-affiliated companies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4983\" data-end=\"5197\">Back in 2023, the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation\u2019s Security Council <strong>Dmitry Medvedev<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/world\/medvedev-pogrozi-nimechchini-leyptsig\/\">stated<\/a>, \u2026that German factories producing missiles for Ukraine may be regarded by Russia as military targets.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5199\" data-end=\"5327\">In April 2026, the rhetoric became more specific: the Russian Ministry of Defence had already published <strong data-start=\"5284\" data-end=\"5326\">the names and addresses of specific businesses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5329\" data-end=\"5494\">Correctiv noted that the 21 companies included manufacturers in Germany, the United Kingdom, the Baltic states, the Czech Republic and other countries.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5496\" data-end=\"5695\">This does not mean that the Kremlin has decided to launch missile strikes against them. However, the German security services regard the Russian side\u2019s public identification of such facilities as a genuine risk.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"ajtr4r\" data-start=\"5697\" data-end=\"5754\">Drone cooperation between Germany and Ukraine is growing rapidly<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"5756\" data-end=\"5882\">Berlin is actively funding the relocation of Ukrainian defence production to Germany as part of the strategy <strong data-start=\"5859\" data-end=\"5881\">Build With Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5884\" data-end=\"6214\">One of the joint projects between Quantum Systems and the Ukrainian company Frontline Robotics plans to produce up to <strong data-start=\"5979\" data-end=\"6012\">10,000 drones a year<\/strong>. The German Government is allocating substantial funds to joint ventures designed to both meet Ukraine\u2019s needs and strengthen the European defence industry.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"6216\" data-end=\"6357\">For Berlin, this is a way of gaining direct access to Ukrainian combat experience and technologies that are being refined in the course of the war itself.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"6359\" data-end=\"6472\">For Russia, such enterprises are becoming a symbol of Europe\u2019s ever-deepening involvement in military production for Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"6474\" data-end=\"6737\">That is precisely why the Russian list of 21 companies is significant not merely as a piece of propaganda: <strong data-start=\"6561\" data-end=\"6696\">German intelligence agencies are already treating potential attacks on defence industries as a realistic scenario in a hybrid war on European
