As a result of the strike <strong data-start=\"222\" data-end=\"290\">The ship\u2019s captain was killed and three other crew members were injured<\/strong>. The Ministry did not specify the name of the vessel, its exact port of destination or the nationality of the crew members.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1229\">Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration <strong>Oleg Kiper<\/strong> reported that as a result of the attack <strong data-start=\"1150\" data-end=\"1190\">the superstructure and deck of the vessel were damaged<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"auto\" data-section-id=\"1o251po\" data-start=\"1231\" data-end=\"1272\">The captain was killed and three sailors were injured<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1274\" data-end=\"1319\">As a result of the hit <strong data-start=\"1293\" data-end=\"1318\">the ship\u2019s captain died<\/strong>. More <strong data-start=\"1324\" data-end=\"1366\">Three crew members were injured<\/strong>. As of the time of publication, these figures have been confirmed by official Ukrainian sources and Reuters.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1502\" data-end=\"1626\">Official Ukrainian authorities have not yet provided any information regarding a higher death toll or more than ten injured <strong data-start=\"1604\" data-end=\"1625\">did not confirm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"auto\" data-section-id=\"2edj1v\" data-start=\"1628\" data-end=\"1656\">The condition of the vessel is still being assessed<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1658\" data-end=\"1794\">The Ministry has reported that information regarding the technical condition of the vessel that was attacked <strong data-start=\"1737\" data-end=\"1755\">to be confirmed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1796\" data-end=\"1997\">The ministry emphasised that the Russian <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/main-news\/rf-vdaryla-po-odeshchyni-porty-ta-zhytlovi-budynky\/\">attacks on Ukrainian ports<\/a>, port infrastructure and civilian merchant vessels pose additional risks to crews and international shipping in the Black Sea.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1999\" data-end=\"2204\">The Ministry also stated that Ukraine is continuing to work with international partners to strengthen the protection of civilian shipping and maritime logistics
