More and more young Ukrainians arrive in Germany after easing travel rules<\/h2>\n

Following the change and easing of the rules for Ukrainian citizens to leave the country, a much larger number of young people aged 18 to 22 began arriving in Germany.

According to the German Ministry of Internal Affairs, the number of Ukrainian citizens aged 18-22 who enter the country every week is estimated at 1,000, increased from 19 people in mid-August to over a thousand by mid-September<\/strong>.

What has changed in the rules<\/h2>\n

In August, Germany amended its immigration requirements for Ukrainians:<\/p>\n

    young people under the age of 23 were able to enter for education and training without additional visa requirements;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    quotas for admission to courses and internships were increased;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    the procedure for obtaining temporary residence permits has been simplified.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The German Ministry of the Interior emphasises that All Ukrainians entering the country are subject to registration and document verification<\/strong>, and their stay is controlled on a general basis under EU temporary protection.<\/p>\n

    Educational and social aspect<\/h2>\n

    Experts note that the vast majority of newcomers are students and applicants<\/strong>, who are looking for further education or employment in Germany.
