The factory sustained such extensive damage that it will effectively have to be rebuilt from scratch. However, all the staff survived.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"920\" data-end=\"1104\">\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"922\" data-end=\"1104\">\u00abToday, our jewellery factory was completely destroyed by a Russian missile. Everyone is safe \u2013 that\u2019s the main thing; we\u2019ll rebuild the rest,\u00bb the company said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1106\" data-end=\"1322\">The company has not yet publicly disclosed the exact amount of the losses or the list of equipment lost. Nor has Dukachi stated how long it might take to resume production.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"auto\" data-section-id=\"16kqbpn\" data-start=\"1324\" data-end=\"1358\">What will happen to Dukachi orders?<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1360\" data-end=\"1494\">Following the attack, the company warned customers that, due to the destruction of its production facilities, <strong data-start=\"1432\" data-end=\"1493\">There may be delays in dispatching orders that have already been processed<\/strong>. Meanwhile, the retail chain remains open. Dukachi shops in <strong data-start=\"1559\" data-end=\"1585\">Kyiv, Lviv and Odesa<\/strong> remain open and are operating as normal.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1681\" data-end=\"1846\">The company emphasised that it plans to restart the plant. No details have yet been provided regarding the relocation of production to another site or the timetable for bringing the new facilities on stream.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"auto\" data-section-id=\"1ic49da\" data-start=\"1848\" data-end=\"1893\">Russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1895\" data-end=\"2133\">The Dukachi factory was destroyed during the Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of <strong data-start=\"1974\" data-end=\"1988\">24 September<\/strong>. The capital suffered <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/main-news\/udar-po-kyievu-zelenskyi-sanktsii-ssha\/\">several waves of ballistic missile strikes<\/a>, the effects were observed in several areas of the city.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"2135\" data-end=\"2378\">According to figures released by the State Emergency Service on the morning of 24 September, as a result of the attack <strong data-start=\"2200\" data-end=\"2256\">Two people were killed and at least eight were injured<\/strong>. Residential and non-residential buildings, as well as other civilian infrastructure, were also damaged.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"auto\" data-section-id=\"1yz2tvv\" data-start=\"2380\" data-end=\"2410\">What is known about the Dukachi brand?<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"2412\" data-end=\"2643\">Dukachi is a Ukrainian jewellery brand which, in <strong data-start=\"2458\" data-end=\"2471\">2018<\/strong> was founded by sisters Anna and <strong>Yelyzaveta Knyzhenko<\/strong>. It is a family business with its own production facilities and shops in three major cities in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"2645\" data-end=\"2906\">Jewellery inspired by Ukrainian symbols has become one of the brand\u2019s signature ranges. In particular, Dukachi produces jewellery in the shape of a motanka doll, crafted from gold and embellished with enamel and precious stones.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"2908\" data-end=\"3100\">Despite the loss of its production site, the company has stated its intention to resume operations.
