A Ukrainian P1-SUN JetKiller interceptor drone, manufactured by SkyFall, destroyed a Russian \u00abGeran-5\u00bb jet drone, the company told the Interfax-Ukraine news agency on 30 September. The operation was carried out by drone operators from the Lasar\u2019s Group of the Ukrainian National Guard. During the mission, the crew used SkyFall\u2019s remote control system.<\/p>\n

The company did not disclose the location or time of the operation for security reasons.<\/p>\n According to the developer, the remote control system enables the operator to control the interceptor via a network without having to be physically present at the launch site. It was used during this combat operation.<\/p>\n JetKiller<\/a> is a high-speed version of the Ukrainian interceptor P1-SUN<\/a>, designed to combat jet-powered attack drones. SkyFall unveiled the system in July 2026 at the Farnborough International Airshow in the UK.<\/p>\n According to the manufacturer\u2019s specifications, the drone can reach speeds of up to 370 km\/h, has a range of up to 30 km, can operate at altitudes of up to 9 km and remain airborne for up to 15 minutes. It is equipped with a warhead weighing approximately 500 grams.<\/p>\n The interceptor can be fitted with a day or night camera, as well as an artificial intelligence module for the automatic detection and tracking of aerial targets.<\/p>\n In recent months, Russia has been making more active use of jet-powered versions of long-range strike drones, which are faster than conventional propeller-driven ones Shahed<\/a>.
