The fire broke out in <strong>Shevchenkivskyi District of Kyiv<\/strong> on the grounds of the Oleksandr Dovzhenko Film Studio.<\/p>\n<p>According to preliminary information from the city authorities, the fire has engulfed one of the pavilions. Batteries are burning inside the building. Emergency services have been dispatched to the scene. As of the first official reports, no details were available regarding the area affected by the fire or the extent of the damage.<\/p>\n<h2>The cause of the fire is as yet unknown<\/h2>\n<p>The official cause of the fire is currently <strong>not specified<\/strong>. There is also no confirmed information regarding any casualties.<\/p>\n<p>The fire broke out on the very same day that Kyiv and the surrounding region came under a large-scale Russian attack and emergency power cuts were introduced in the capital. At the same time<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/suspilstvo\/kyiv-zapasy-vody-produktiv-blekauty\/\"> KSCA<\/a> did not report that the fire at the film studio was linked to a Russian attack or power cuts<\/strong>, so there are currently no grounds for establishing such a link.<\/p>\n<h2>The film studio had already sustained damage as a result of the Russian attack<\/h2>\n<p>In June 2026, the Dovzhenko National Film Studio had already been damaged by a Russian strike on Kyiv. A fire broke out on its premises at that time, and a significant part of the historic costume collection was destroyed as a result of the strike.<\/p>\n<p>The current fire is an isolated incident.
