This would involve funding through an international project financed by the EU; the number of shelters, the budget and the list of crossing points were not specified.<\/p>\n<h2>Joint control with neighbouring countries<\/h2>\n<p>At the same time, Ukraine is discussing with neighbouring states the possibility of carrying out Ukrainian border and customs procedures on their territory. Joint control means that the services of both countries operate in the same location, rather than a change to the state border.<\/p>\n<p>Preparations for an agreement on joint control with Poland are ongoing, although the document has not yet been signed, the Ministry of Recovery reported on 25 September.<\/p>\n<p>According to Derkach, four were affected by Russian attacks in 2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/viyna\/orlivka-kpp-zakryta-pislya-ataky-rf\/\">border crossings<\/a> in the Odesa region.
