According to his information, these may be linked to the case involving Senior Sergeant Anatoliy Shtel of the Uzhhorod District Traffic Police Centre. The journalist claims that the soldier allegedly promised to exert influence over other staff members <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/suspilstvo\/zvilnennia-kerivnyka-ttsk-cherkashchyna\/\">TCC<\/a>, so that the person liable for military service could be removed from the wanted list and his military registration details updated in the \u00abOberig\u00bb register.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab<a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/suspilstvo\/politsiia-dostup-dani-obereh-rozshuk\/\">Amulet<\/a>\u00bb is the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons Liable for Military Service and Reservists. <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/suspilstvo\/dbr-obshuky-viyskovi-chastyny\/\">STATE BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION<\/a> During the nationwide \u00abHonest Conscription\u00bb operation, it was reported that investigations were being carried out into schemes involving the unlawful removal of individuals from the register of wanted persons or those subject to a search warrant, as well as interference with registry data.<\/p>\n<p>The circumstances reported by Glagola were not accompanied by any public information from the law enforcement authorities regarding the legal classification of the incident or Shtel\u2019s procedural status.<\/p>\n<h2>According to the journalist, investigators are looking into possible links with the leadership<\/h2>\n<p>Glagola also reported that the staff sergeant had allegedly been absent from his unit without permission since June, but had continued to attend the regional recruitment centre. According to him, investigators are looking into the circumstances that made this possible.<\/p>\n<p>A separate investigation is being carried out to establish whether Karpovich could have facilitated Shtel\u2019s return to service. The fact that such an investigation is being conducted does not in itself establish the guilt or involvement of the head of the OTCK; there have been no reports that he has been served with a notice of suspicion.<\/p>\n<h2>Karpovich took charge of the regional TCC in September, whilst other matters remain separate<\/h2>\n<p>Colonel <strong>Karpovich<\/strong> He took up his duties as head of the Transcarpathian Regional Election Commission and the Joint Election Commission on 4 September 2026. Previously, he had headed the Dubno District Election Commission in the Rivne region, and in Transcarpathia he replaced <strong>Andriy Savchuk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In September, the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) reported on a separate investigation concerning a serviceman from one of the region\u2019s district military registration and enlistment offices. According to the investigation, he demanded 5,000 dollars in exchange for assistance in passing a medical examination, registering with the military and avoiding mobilisation.
