On the night of On 7 October, Russia launched a large-scale combined attack on Ukraine<\/strong>, using various types of ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as attack and jet-powered drones. The main strikes targeted Kyiv and the surrounding region, Dnipro, Kremenchuk, Pryluky, Oleksandriia and Zaporizhzhia. Confirmed hits include industrial, warehouse and transport facilities, though missiles also struck residential areas. Two people were killed in Kyiv, whilst in the Poltava region, two further deaths and seven injuries were reported following the attack. In Pryluky, a missile struck a high-rise block directly \u2014 search and rescue operations are underway beneath the rubble.<\/p>\n

    An official summary report from the Air Force detailing the total number of missiles fired and destroyed as of this morning has not yet been released. Throughout the attack, the military reported ballistic threats, cruise missiles and jet-powered UAVs in various regions.<\/p>\n

      That\u2019s exactly it an assessment based on monitoring data, rather than the Air Force\u2019s final statistics<\/strong>. Furthermore, a \u00abgroup\u00bb of cruise missiles does not refer to a single missile, so it is incorrect to include these figures in the total number of munitions.<\/p>\n\r\n
