As a result of a massive Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of 7 October The main warehouse and central logistics hub of \u00abATL Autoservice\u00bb have been completely destroyed\u00bb<\/strong>. It handled the bulk of the trade in motor oils, batteries and other motoring products. The company has reported that all staff are safe, and that its car shops and service centres are continuing to operate. However, some items may be temporarily unavailable in the coming days.<\/p>\n

    The company announced the loss of its main logistics facility on the morning of 7 October.<\/p>\n

    According to the statement \u00abATL Car Service\u00bb<\/strong>, the warehouse was completely destroyed. This site was the network\u2019s central hub, through which large quantities of motor oils, batteries, spare parts and other goods were distributed.<\/p>\n

    The company described the following as the most important news: the people survived<\/strong>. The extent of the material damage is still being assessed.<\/p>\n

    Will there be a shortage of batteries and motoring products?<\/h2>\n

    It is too early to speak of a general shortage of automotive goods in Ukraine at present.<\/p>\n

    The company explained that, following previous Russian attacks, it had begun distributing its stock among various outlets in the network in advance. Some of the goods were assembled directly at car shops and service centres.<\/p>\n

    Therefore, at the time of the statement ATL\u2019s shops and service centres are well-stocked and remain open<\/strong>. At the same time, the destruction of the central hub will inevitably complicate logistics. The company has warned that, in the coming days, the range of products available will effectively depend on the stock already held at its branches.<\/p>\n

    The most sensitive categories may be those of which large quantities passed through the central warehouse \u2014 primarily motor oils, batteries and mass-market automotive goods.<\/p>\n

    There are plans to overhaul the logistics system<\/h2>\n

    \u00abATL Autoservice\u00bb has stated that it is already implementing crisis-response measures and redirecting its supply chains.<\/p>\n

    The company has stated that it remains operationally and financially stable and continues to fulfil its obligations to customers and partners. Car dealerships and service centres are operating as normal.<\/p>\n

    This is not the first major loss the network has suffered as a result of Russian attacks. Previously, missiles destroyed its head office, after which the company stated that it had managed to restore operations there in around 48 hours.<\/p>\n

    The main priority now will be to restore the central logistics operations \u2014 after all, the warehouse used to supply goods to a large network of car shops and service centres.<\/p>\n

    What does this mean for customers?<\/h2>\n

    In the near future, certain items may be out of stock in specific shops or may have longer waiting times.<\/p>\n
