This is according to reports in the Russian media. However, a family representative has not confirmed this possibility, whilst his nephew has stated that the deceased wished to be cremated and for some of his ashes to be buried alongside his mother.

Briefly about the main points

The funeral service for Kashpirovsky took place on 8 October at Troekurovsky Cemetery.

SHOT reported that the coffin was being prepared for transport from the Moscow Region.

His nephew spoke about cremation and the burial of some of the ashes in Vinnytsia.

The psychotherapist’s parents and daughter are buried at the Central Cemetery in Vinnytsia.

A family spokesperson promised that details might be released in about ten days’ time.

After the farewell, the media reported on preparations for the transport

The funeral service took place on 8 October in the funeral parlour at the Troekurovsky Cemetery in Moscow. Following the service, the SHOT Telegram channel reported that the coffin had been taken to a funeral home in the Moscow Region, where it was allegedly being prepared for onward transport.

TSN, citing SHOT, reported that the route might run through Belarus, European Union countries and, possibly, Poland. Neither the family nor a representative of the deceased has publicly confirmed this information.

His nephew and a spokesperson outlined various scenarios for the funeral

The psychotherapist’s nephew Yuriy Mamayev told the publication *Argumenty i Fakty* that his uncle had, whilst alive, expressed a wish to be cremated. According to Mamaeva, he wanted to bury some of the ashes near his mother’s grave in Vinnytsia after Russia’s victory in the war.

Mamaev had previously suggested that the second portion of the ashes might be buried in Moscow at the Troekurovsky Cemetery. At the same time, SHOT claims that the relatives allegedly refused cremation and decided to transport the body to Ukraine.

Director Kashpirovsky Serhiy Rudykh In a comment to TVC, he neither confirmed nor denied the report that the burial had taken place in Ukraine. He said that the family was not disclosing any details in accordance with the deceased’s wishes, and that information regarding the burial site might become available in about ten days’ time.

The parents and daughter of a psychotherapist have been buried in Vinnytsia

Kashpirovsky was born on 11 August 1939 in the village of Stavnytsia in the Khmelnytskyi region and worked at the Vinnytsia Psychiatric Hospital for around 25 years. His parents, Mykhailo and Yadviga, are buried at the Central Cemetery in Vinnytsia.

His daughter from his first marriage is also buried in the family plot Olena Kashpirovska. She died in Canada in 2018 at the age of 50; her ashes were brought back to Ukraine.

According to Gazeta.ru, new burials at the Central Cemetery are only permitted in existing family plots. This explains why the reports specifically refer to a family grave.

The circumstances of the death were reported by his nephew and representatives

According to Yuriy Mamayev, Kashpirovsky had stage four stomach cancer with metastases. A relative attributed the malfunctioning of his internal organs during the final period of the psychotherapist’s life to his illness.

Kashpirovsky’s representatives had previously also reported a sharp drop in blood pressure and cardiac arrest.

Kashpirovsky gained fame through his television sessions

In the late 1980s, Kashpirovsky became widely known for his televised mass hypnosis sessions. During these sessions, he claimed to be able to treat various illnesses through psychological influence; however, there was no proper scientific evidence to support the therapeutic effectiveness of such sessions.

Following the collapse of the USSR, he continued his work in Russia, obtained Russian citizenship and served as a deputy in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

[806778
806775
post-32445","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-suspilstvo","tag-806775
["GET
