According to TSN, the disruption initially affected the red, blue and green lines.<\/p>\n<p>Problems arose in the evening, when many passengers are returning from work.<\/p>\n<h2>Traffic is being restored gradually<\/h2>\n<p>In its first update following the suspension of services, the Metro announced the gradual resumption of services on the Blue and Green lines. Trains were running at longer intervals on these lines, so waiting times on the platforms may have increased.<\/p>\n<p>The Red Line had not resumed operations by that point. The timeframe for the underground network to return fully to its normal timetable depends on the power supply stabilising; the company has promised to provide further updates separately.<\/p>\n<p>Passengers should keep an eye on the metro\u2019s real-time updates and allow for possible delays when planning their journeys.<\/p>\n<h2>The disruption has affected trams and trolleybuses<\/h2>\n<p>The power cut on 8 October also affected ground-based electric transport. According to information <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/viyna\/bpla-vluchyv-pivdennyi-mist-kyiv-metro\/\">KSCA<\/a>, due to a power cut in the overhead line system during the day, services on six tram routes and twenty trolleybus routes were delayed.<\/p>\n<p>The city authorities organised temporary bus routes and extended the operating hours of some existing ones. Throughout the day, some electric transport services gradually resumed operations, although there were still delays on certain routes.<\/p>\n<p>This evening, the Kyiv City State Administration warned of a further suspension of some ground-based public transport services due to a power cut.
