Italy prepares 12th military aid package for Ukraine - Bloomberg<\/h2>\n

Italy completes preparations 12th military assistance package for Ukraine<\/strong>, which will include Ammunition and missiles for the SAMP\/T air defence system<\/strong>, the agency reports Bloomberg<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Delivery is planned for by the end of this year<\/strong>, after the technical details are agreed upon between the defence ministries of the two countries.<\/p>\n

Supporting the Ukrainian sky<\/h2>\n

Systems SAMP\/T<\/strong> of joint Italian-French production are one of the most effective air defence systems<\/strong>, capable of shooting down ballistic missiles and drones.
Ukraine already has one battery of this system, deployed in the spring of 2024, and has repeatedly asked its allies to provide additional missiles.<\/p>\n

\u00abItaly continues to stand by Ukraine's side, especially in strengthening its air shield,\u00bb government sources said, quoted by Bloomberg<\/em>.<\/p>\n
