According to a spokesperson for the volunteers, there was hardly any expensive electronic equipment in the warehouse.<\/p>\n It is not yet known how much of the aid will be salvaged once the damaged premises have been cleared. Nor is there a final estimate of the value of the lost donations.<\/p>\n Firefighting was made more difficult by the large quantity of materials stored in the warehouse. The next delivery to Sumy and Kharkiv was scheduled for 16 October 2026. However, it is not yet known whether the items intended specifically for this journey were in the burnt-out premises, or whether the fire will affect the planned dispatch.<\/p>\n German law enforcement agencies launched an investigation into the circumstances of the fire on the morning of 9 October. Investigators are tasked with determining the point of origin of the fire, the possible cause of the blaze and the circumstances under which it spread through the warehouse.<\/p>\n The exact cause of the fire is currently unknown. There is also no confirmed evidence to suggest arson or any other unlawful activity.
