However, there is no need to apply for a replacement card if the account with the same IBAN has not changed.<\/p>\n<div class=\"news-summary-box\">\n<p><strong>Briefly about the main points<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To open a new pension account, you need to submit an application to the Pension Fund of Ukraine.<\/li>\n<li>The Pension Fund of Ukraine credits funds using the details provided in the previous application.<\/li>\n<li>A reissued card does not affect payments provided the IBAN remains the same.<\/li>\n<li>The online application must be signed with a qualified electronic signature.<\/li>\n<li>You can also submit your details at any Pension Fund of Ukraine service centre.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2>The new plastic card does not change the payment details<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/suspilstvo\/stroky-zayavy-pensiyu-2026\/\">Pension fund<\/a> transfers the funds to the bank account details provided by the recipient in the application. Therefore, opening another card does not in itself constitute grounds for redirecting the payment.<\/p>\n<p>When switching to another bank or opening a new account, a pensioner must provide the Fund with up-to-date details and submit a properly completed application. Only then can the new payment details be added to the pension file.<\/p>\n<h2>When you do not need to contact us after your card has been reissued<\/h2>\n<p>A card may be reissued following expiry, loss or damage. If the bank has linked the new card to the same account, your pension will continue to be paid into it.<\/p>\n<p>The card number and the IBAN are different details. It is the IBAN that specifies the account into which funds are to be paid, so before contacting the Pension Fund of Ukraine, it is worth checking whether it has remained the same.<\/p>\n<h2>How to update your details via the Pension Fund\u2019s web portal<\/h2>\n<p>First, you need to open an account with an authorised bank and obtain its account details. Next, on the Pension Fund of Ukraine\u2019s e-services portal, you should log in to your personal account using a qualified electronic signature.<\/p>\n<p>In the \u00abPension Provision\u00bb section, select the \u00abAmendments to Pension File\u00bb service, and then the application to change your payment details or the method of pension payment. Fill in the form, attach scanned documents, sign it with your digital signature and submit it for consideration.<\/p>\n<p>Usually, you will need to provide your passport, your tax registration number and your bank account details to complete the application. You can track the progress of your application in the \u00abMy Applications\u00bb section of your personal account.<\/p>\n<h2>Account requirements and in-person application submission<\/h2>\n<p>The account for pension payments must be active, held with an authorised bank and designated for the payment of pensions or other social benefits. The key detail is the IBAN \u2014 a 29-character international account number in Ukraine. You can find it in the bank\u2019s app or obtain it from a branch.<\/p>\n<p>Those who do not use online services can submit their documents at any convenient Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) service centre. To do so, they must present proof of identity and provide the details of their new bank account.
