The heating season in Ukraine will start only when there is a real need - the Ministry of Energy<\/h2>\n

Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Grinchuk<\/strong> stated that this year's heating season will start only if necessary<\/strong>, rather than on a fixed date.
According to her, the main criterion will be real air temperature and the state of the power system<\/strong> after the Russian attacks.<\/p>\n

\u00abWe are not tied to the calendar. Heating will be switched on when people need it. As long as the weather permits, it is important to save resources,\u00bb the minister said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Decisions will be made by local authorities<\/h2>\n

The Ministry of Energy reminds that decision to start the heating season<\/strong> approve local authorities<\/strong>, based on the average daily temperature.
Typically, the heating is switched on when the air temperature stays below +8 \u00b0C for three consecutive days<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Now the government and the energy sector are calling on the population to Rationally use electricity and heat<\/strong>, to reduce the load on networks in case of repeated Russian attacks.<\/p>\n

Preparing for winter<\/h2>\n

Ukraine has already prepared more than 90 % thermal facilities<\/strong> for the heating season, work is underway to strengthen energy protection and repair damaged infrastructure.
