According to the Odesa Regional State Emergency Service, three flats were destroyed and a fire broke out on the roof of the building. Emergency services arrived promptly at the scene and extinguished the blaze, preventing it from spreading further. Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries. The strike caused the destruction of three flats and set the roof alight. Photographs released by the State Emergency Service show damaged walls, floors and roof structures, amongst which rescue workers are carrying out their duties.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the premises were effectively left without external enclosing structures. Debris from building materials was found inside the damaged dwellings. The final condition of the load-bearing structures and the feasibility of continued occupation of the building are to be determined by the relevant specialists.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the extensive damage, according to preliminary reports from the emergency services, there were no casualties.<\/p>\n<h2>The fire on the roof of the building was quickly brought under control<\/h2>\n<p>A fire broke out in the building following the strike. Units from the State Emergency Service arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the fire, whilst inspecting the damaged premises. The firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control quickly. The emergency services are now focusing on dealing with the aftermath of the attack and ensuring the safety of residents.<\/p>\n<p>Psychologists from the State Emergency Service were also working at the scene. They provided the necessary support to people who had survived the shelling and whose homes had been destroyed or damaged.<\/p>\n<h2>Russia continues to carry out strikes on residential areas in Odesa<\/h2>\n<p>The attack on a residential building was yet another instance of damage <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/viyna\/ataka-na-odesu-1-zhovtnia-biznes-tsentr\/\">civilian infrastructure<\/a> Odessa. On 10 October, Russian troops launched repeated attacks on the city. In particular, there were reports of damage to an administrative building and residential properties.<\/p>\n<p>During such attacks, the danger comes not only from direct hits, but also from fires, shrapnel and damage to building structures.<\/p>\n<p>Once the emergency work has been completed, it will be necessary to assess the extent of the material damage and determine the scope of the repairs
