At the same time, the President of Ukraine said that Kyiv supported the US-proposed energy ceasefire.<\/p>\n<h2>The financial argument and the White House\u2019s response<\/h2>\n<p>Affinity Partners, founded and led by Kushner, manages assets worth over $6 billion. Around 99% of the company\u2019s assets under management are held by non-US clients. CREW cites this as part of its argument regarding a potential conflict of interest.<\/p>\n<p>The White House responded by stating that Kushner remains a private citizen, <strong>voluntarily assists the President and covers his own expenses<\/strong>. According to the administration, his business has no connection with diplomatic assignments.
