He later clarified that an enemy drone had crashed onto the premises of one of the businesses.<\/p>\n<p>The building sustained significant damage as a result of the explosion. According to preliminary information from the city\u2019s military administration, there may have been people trapped under the rubble.<\/p>\n<p>The exact name of the damaged facility and the extent of the damage have not yet been specified. There is also no specific confirmation from \u00abNova Poshta\u00bb regarding damage to its terminal as a result of this strike.<\/p>\n<h2>One person was killed and four were injured<\/h2>\n<p>Following the initial reports of the destruction, the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration released information regarding the casualties of the Russian attack. According to updated figures, one person has died. Four others sustained injuries and wounds of varying severity. Two of the injured are being taken to hospital. Two others are receiving emergency medical treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Details of the deceased and those injured, including their ages and the nature of their injuries, have not yet been released.<\/p>\n<h2>Russia continues to attack businesses in Chernihiv<\/h2>\n<p>This is not the first attack by Russian troops on <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/main-news\/ataka-chernihivshchyna-koriukivskyi-raion-25-serpnia\/\">civilian enterprises<\/a> Chernihiv over the last few days.<\/p>\n<p>On 21 October, Russian drones struck one of the city\u2019s private businesses twice. During the first attack, a 54-year-old man suffered a barotrauma. A few hours later, Russian forces attacked the same site again.<\/p>\n<p>A 61-year-old local resident who was near the scene of the explosion was killed in the second blast. According to the police, the man sustained fatal injuries near a shop.<\/p>\n<p>Following these attacks, the police have launched criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine \u2014 violation of the laws and customs of war.<\/p>\n<p>On 23 October, Russian forces struck Chernihiv\u2019s industrial infrastructure once again.
