The online public vote earned the Ukrainian representative a further 68 points.<\/p>\n<p>Ukraine received scores from the juries of 13 countries. The highest scores \u2014 five points each \u2014 were awarded by Poland, Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands. France awarded four points.<\/p>\n<p>Under the competition rules, the final result was determined by the votes of the national juries and the audience, with each component accounting for half of the overall score.<\/p>\n<h2>How Erika Kolesnichenko performed in Malta<\/h2>\n<p>Ukraine was represented by 12-year-old Erika Kolesnichenko from Bila Tserkva in the Kyiv region. She took to the stage eleventh in the final.<\/p>\n<p>For the competition, the singer prepared the song \u00abNot A Lullaby\u00bb, with music and lyrics by a Ukrainian singer <strong>Svitlana Tarabarova<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike a traditional lullaby, which soothes a child, this song encourages them not to be afraid to express themselves, to find their own path and to believe in their own abilities.<\/p>\n<p>The stage performance was staged by the directors <strong>Lesya Podolyanko<\/strong> and <strong>Ilya Osyadlyi<\/strong>. The choreography was by <strong>Danylo Demekhin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>After her performance, Erika thanked the audience and dedicated her act to the children of Ukraine and the whole world.<\/p>\n<h2>Who won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026?<\/h2>\n<p>The winner of the 24th Children\u2019s Song Contest <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/show-biz\/yevrobachennia-povernennia-rosii-martin-hreen\/\">Eurovision Song Contest<\/a> became Armenia\u2019s representative <strong>Nar\u00e9<\/strong> with the track \u00abBOO!\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>According to the results of the vote, she received 202 points, of which 103 were awarded by the national juries and 99 by the viewers.<\/p>\n<p>The final took place at the MFCC concert complex in the village of Ta\u2019 Qali in Malta. Representatives from 16 countries competed for the title.<\/p>\n<p>Ukrainian viewers were able to watch the performances live on \u00abSuspilne Kultura\u00bb and on the official Junior Eurovision platform.
