Total Russian personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion have reached approximately 1,578,450. The updated figures, as of the morning of 25 October 2026, were released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<h2>Russian army casualties over the past 24 hours: figures from the General Staff<\/h2>\n<p>Pros. <a href=\"https:\/\/mod.gov.ua\/news\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">information<\/a> According to the Ukrainian military command, on 24 October the Defence Forces inflicted losses on Russian troops in terms of personnel, armoured vehicles, artillery and transport.<\/p>\n<p>The largest increase in equipment losses was recorded in the category of vehicles and tankers \u2014 417 units. The Russian army also lost 49 artillery systems, five multiple launch rocket systems and three air defence systems.<\/p>\n<p>Armoured vehicle losses over the past 24 hours totalled three tanks and five armoured fighting vehicles. The General Staff described this figure as the highest since the start of the full-scale invasion.<\/p>\n<p>As at 25 October, the total <strong>Russian Federation personnel losses have reached approximately 1.58 million people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This figure covers total combat losses, not just military personnel killed in action.
