According to him, damage to industrial infrastructure, a block of flats and private homes has been recorded in Novomoskovsk.<\/p>\n<p>A Russian official attributed the damage to falling drone debris, but did not specify which industrial facility had been affected.<\/p>\n<h2>What is known about the \u00abAzot\u00bb chemical plant?\u00bb<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Novomoskovsk \u00abAzot\u00bb<\/strong> \u2014 one of Russia\u2019s largest chemical plants. The plant has been part of the EuroChem Group since 2002.<\/p>\n<p>The company specialises in the production of ammonia, ammonium nitrate, urea, methanol and other chemical products.<\/p>\n<p>Certain chemical products, in particular ammonium nitrate and nitric acid, can be used in the manufacture of explosives. The enterprise is therefore important not only for the agricultural sector but also for dual-use industrial supply chains.<\/p>\n<h2>The factory had already been attacked previously<\/h2>\n<p>This is not the first attack on the plant in 2026. In June, drones had already carried out strikes on industrial sites in Novomoskovsk, including the grounds of the \u00ab<a
