Speaking on the state-run television channel \u00abRossiya 1\u00bb, he claimed that Paris, Brussels and Berlin could be destroyed, describing a future clash between Russia and the West as a \u00abnuclear boot\u00bb. He cast doubt on the ability of European countries to deter Russia and went on to make direct nuclear threats.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab<em>And this time, the boot will be absolutely brilliant<\/em>\u00bb, said the TV presenter.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, Russian troops will allegedly not even have to enter European cities. Solovyov mentioned <strong>Paris<\/strong>, <strong>Brussels<\/strong> \u0456 <strong>Berlin<\/strong>, describing them as potential areas covered with <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/main-news\/radioaktyvnyy-dym-iz-chaes-ruhajetsya-na-bilorus\/\">radioactive dust<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of his speech, he urged Western media outlets to be sure to quote his words the following day.<\/p>\n<p>A video recording of the speech was released by <strong>Anton Gerashchenko<\/strong>, who drew attention to the latest threats from the Russian TV presenter and his desire to gain publicity in the Western press.<\/p>\n<h2>The propagandist has already called for attacks on NATO countries<\/h2>\n<p>This is not the first time Solovyov has made such a statement. In October 2025, he publicly called for a large-scale military confrontation with the European Union and named Brussels, Berlin and Paris as possible targets for Russian strikes.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the TV presenter had also made threats against the UK and suggested using the Russian \u00abPoseidon\u00bb nuclear-powered unmanned submarine against it.<\/p>\n<p>Solovyov presents political programmes on the state television channel \u00abRossiya 1\u00bb, supports the Russian Federation\u2019s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and is subject to Western sanctions.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, his comments on television do not constitute an official decision by the Russian military leadership regarding the use of <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/viyna\/rf-zminyla-pravyla-yadernoyi-zbroi-ukraina\/\">nuclear weapons<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>How NATO and the EU are responding to Russia\u2019s nuclear threats<\/h2>\n<p>At the end of September 2026, Russia had already warned NATO of the possible use of nuclear weapons should any attempts be made to isolate the Kaliningrad region.<\/p>\n<p>As reported by the Associated Press, Russian diplomatic missions have stated their readiness to use every means at their disposal to defend this territory.<\/p>\n<p>NATO has described such threats as irresponsible.
