This was stated by Serhiy Beskrestnov, an adviser to the President of Ukraine on defence technologies, known by the call sign \u00abFlash\u00bb.<\/p>\n<div class=\"news-summary-box\">\n<p><strong>Briefly about the main points<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sergei \u00abFlash\u00bb Beskrestnov stated that the number of Russian troops on the front line had been reduced.<\/li>\n<li>In his view, Ukrainian units do not always meet their targets for eliminating the enemy due to the smaller number of available targets.<\/li>\n<li>Even the mobilisation of a further 300,000 Russians, according to the adviser, will not give the Russian Federation a decisive advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Why there are fewer Russian soldiers on the front line<\/h2>\n<p>According to estimates <strong>Beskrestnova<\/strong>, the reduction in the number of Russian military personnel in certain sections of the front line is affecting the performance of Ukrainian units.<\/p>\n<p>He attributes this to the Russian army\u2019s heavy losses and changes in the nature of the fighting. The widespread use of drones makes it considerably more difficult for personnel and equipment to move near the front line.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the claim that the targets have not been met is the adviser\u2019s assessment, not official statistics published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<h2>Why the mobilisation of 300,000 Russians might not achieve the desired result<\/h2>\n<p>Flash believes that the additional deployment of hundreds of thousands of military personnel does not in itself guarantee Russia success.<\/p>\n<p>He had previously explained that the large-scale use of strike <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/science-tech\/deadliner-q1-top3-optonvlok-fpv-droni-zsu\/\">FPV drones<\/a> has changed the nature of offensive operations. Large concentrations of troops and equipment are becoming vulnerable to drones, and traditional mechanised assaults are becoming increasingly difficult to carry out.<\/p>\n<p>That said, Beskrestnov does not rule out the possibility that the mobilisation will create further problems for the Ukrainian armed forces. However, in his view, numerical superiority is no longer as significant as it was in the earlier stages of the war.<\/p>\n<h2>Russia is preparing a new wave of mobilisation<\/h2>\n<p>According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence and the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, the Russian command was considering the possibility of <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/world\/putin-mobilizatsiya-try-kryzy-ukraina\/\">additional mobilisation<\/a> 600,000 people over the period 2026\u20132027. The plan envisaged recruiting approximately 300,000 people in each of the two years.<\/p>\n<p>Ukrainian intelligence reported that between January and July 2026, Russia lost around 240,000 military personnel, either killed or wounded. At the same time, approximately 232,000 people were recruited into the occupying forces on a contractual basis.<\/p>\n<p>Intelligence analysts linked the preparations for a further mobilisation to the
