As a result of the strikes, more than 650 settlements were left without electricity. Experts are working to repair the damaged infrastructure and restore power to consumers.<\/p>\n<p>As of the morning of 1 November, there had been no reports of any fatalities or injuries resulting from the attack.<\/p>\n<p>The Zviahel community has also reported a power cut due to damage to the electricity network. According to preliminary estimates by the local authorities, power is expected to be gradually restored by 17:00 on 1 November. This timeframe applies to the community, not the whole of Zhytomyr Oblast.<\/p>\n<h2>Russia has attacked the energy infrastructure in several regions at once<\/h2>\n<p>According to Ukrenergo, as a result of Russian attacks <strong>Power cuts have been reported in eight regions of Ukraine<\/strong>. The situation remains most difficult in <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/suspilstvo\/blekaut-dnipro-31-zhovtnia-koly-bude-svitlo\/\">Dnipro region<\/a> and in the Kyiv region, where damage to power infrastructure led to emergency power cuts.<\/p>\n<p>A large-scale air attack began on the evening of 31 October. According to the Air Force, Russia launched 433 drones of various types, of which, as of 07:30, Ukrainian air defences had shot down or neutralised 371.<\/p>\n<p>Hits were recorded at 16 locations, whilst debris from downed drones fell at a further 14.<\/p>\n<p>In the Zhytomyr region, in addition to emergency power cuts, scheduled hourly power cuts are in place on 1 November.
