The targets included the \u00abPantsir-S2\u00bb anti-aircraft missile and gun system and a command and control vehicle for the S-400 \u00abTriumph\u00bb system. The total value of the air defence equipment destroyed is estimated at approximately $70 million, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on 1 November.<\/p>\n<div class=\"news-summary-box\"><strong>Briefly about the main points<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The defence forces struck a missile factory in the Rostov Region.<\/li>\n<li>A warehouse caught fire at the factory, and four production halls were damaged.<\/li>\n<li>A \u00abPantsir-S2\u00bb and an S-400 command vehicle were also hit.<\/li>\n<li>The value of the air defence facilities that were hit is approximately $70 million.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2>A fire broke out in a warehouse at the rocket factory, damaging four production halls<\/h2>\n<p>On the night of 31 October, the Ukrainian military launched a combined strike on the facility <strong>\u00abKamensky Plant\u00bb<\/strong> in the town of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky in the Rostov Oblast. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, strike drones and the Ukrainian Navy\u2019s \u00abNeptune\u00bb coastal missile systems were used in the operation.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the attack on the factory, the finished goods warehouse caught fire and four production halls were also damaged.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abThe \u00bbKamensky Plant\u00ab is one of the enterprises within the Russian military-industrial complex involved in the production of missile weapons. The plant manufactures solid rocket propellant for the \u00bbUragan\u00ab, \u00bbSmerch\u00ab and \u00bbTornado-S\u2019 multiple launch rocket systems, as well as for other missile systems and airborne weapons.<\/p>\n<p>The facility has already come under attack from Ukrainian forces. In particular, the General Staff reported that it had been hit on 24 August 2026.<\/p>\n<h2>A \u00abPantsir-S2\u00bb and a S-400 command vehicle were hit<\/h2>\n<p>In addition to missile production facilities, Ukrainian units carried out strikes on two Russian air defence sites.<\/p>\n<p>According to Zelenskyy, the \u00ab\u2019 complex has been hit\u00ab<a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/viyna\/urazhennia-azovskoho-zavodu-ilskogo-npz\/\">Pantsir-S2<\/a>\u00bb, designed to protect military installations from airborne threats, as well as the command and control vehicle for the S-400 \u00abTriumph\u00bb system.<\/p>\n<p>The command vehicle is a key element in the control of an anti-aircraft missile system: it ensures the coordination of combat operations and the transmission of commands to other components of the system.<\/p>\n<p>The Ukrainian president estimated the total cost of the two damaged facilities at approximately $70 million. <strong>Zelensky<\/strong> thanked the Ukrainian military for their successful strikes against Russian military targets.<\/p>\n<p>The strike on a facility producing rocket fuel and air defence systems has become part of Ukraine\u2019s long-range operations against Russia\u2019s military-industrial
