One of the drones struck the roof of a five-storey residential block, causing damage and a fire. According to updated figures from the State Emergency Service, 12 people were injured, including a child. Rescue workers managed to free two residents who were trapped in a flat on the top floor.<\/p>\n<div class=\"news-summary-box\"><strong>Briefly about the main points<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On 1 November, Russian drones attacked the village of Vasyshcheve near Kharkiv.<\/li>\n<li>As a result of a projectile striking the roof of the five-storey block, flats and the floor slabs were damaged.<\/li>\n<li>Twelve people were injured, including a three-year-old girl, according to the emergency services.<\/li>\n<li>Firefighters rescued two residents who were trapped in a flat on the top floor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Strike on a residential building in Vasyshcheve<\/h2>\n<p>The Russian attack took place at around 19:25. According to preliminary information from the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor\u2019s Office, the occupiers used a \u00abGeran-3\u00bb type attack drone to strike the village.<\/p>\n<p>The roof of the five-storey building caught fire as a result of the strike. The explosion damaged the structure of the flats and the floor slabs. Two residents were trapped in a flat on the top floor. Firefighters reached them and evacuated them from the damaged building.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, as a result of the attack, there were also <strong>Two private residential properties were damaged<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Initial reports indicated that there were five victims \u2014 an 18-year-old man and four women aged 33, 48, 67 and 71. The public prosecutor\u2019s office subsequently revised the number of victims upwards to 11, specifying that a three-year-old girl was among them.<\/p>\n<p>On the morning of 2 November, the State Emergency Service reported that <strong>12 injured<\/strong>, including one child. According to preliminary information from the public prosecutor\u2019s office, most of the victims have been diagnosed with an acute stress reaction.<\/p>\n<h2>Fires on the premises of a private company<\/h2>\n<p>In addition to damage to residential buildings, the Russian attack caused three separate fires to break out.<\/p>\n<p>According to the State Emergency Service, greenhouses, hay and a refrigeration unit were on fire on the premises of a private enterprise. Earlier, the Kharkiv Regional State Administration had reported that the fire in the greenhouse, covering an area of 20 square metres, had been brought under control.<\/p>\n<p>Units from the State
