Following this, the process became more complicated due to events in the Middle East and the persistence of fundamental differences between Kyiv and Moscow.<\/p>\n<p>The parties continue to have significant differences regarding the terms of a possible peaceful settlement.<\/p>\n<p>This round does not include a confirmed meeting either <strong>Vladimir Zelensky<\/strong>, Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. This specifically refers to working-level talks between representatives of the three countries.<\/p>\n<h2>The US will hold separate talks with Europe and NATO<\/h2>\n<p>Ahead of the meeting in Abu Dhabi, the US delegation will hold consultations in Brussels with representatives from France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the European Union and NATO.<\/p>\n<p>According to Witkoff, these talks are scheduled for this week.<\/p>\n<p>The main focus will be on security guarantees for Ukraine, the future architecture of European security, and economic support for the post-war reconstruction of the Ukrainian state.<\/p>\n<p>The US side intends to build on the results of previous diplomatic contacts in Kyiv, Oslo and St Petersburg to prepare further agreements.<\/p>\n<p>Vitkoff stated that the aim of these efforts remains the conclusion of a comprehensive and long-term peace agreement.<\/p>\n<h2>Zelenskyy had previously discussed trilateral talks with Erdogan<\/h2>\n<p>Back on 31 October, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announced that preparations were under way for a trilateral meeting involving Ukraine, the US and Russia in the first half of November.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of State discussed this issue during <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/main-news\/zelenskyi-erdogan-perehovory-turechchyna\/\">meetings<\/a> with the President of Turkey <strong>Recep Tayyip Erdogan<\/strong> in Istanbul.<\/p>\n<p>Zelenskyy stated that the parties had discussed the prospects of involving Turkey and European partners, as well as the possibility of holding talks on Turkish territory.<\/p>\n<p>The Ukrainian president also emphasised the need for Russia to take concrete steps towards de-escalation and for continued international support for Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>However, the
