According to the police, the woman, posing as a private ambulance worker, attempted, in return for money, to help a serviceman leave the National Guard\u2019s deployment point.<\/p>\n<div class=\"news-summary-box\"><strong>Briefly about the main points<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In Kyiv, a pre-trial measure is being determined for Valentina Molodiy and her alleged accomplice.<\/li>\n<li>Investigators suspect them of organising disturbances near the National Guard\u2019s base.<\/li>\n<li>During the clashes on 2 November, official vehicles were damaged and the police were met with resistance.<\/li>\n<li>According to law enforcement officials, the suspects face up to eight years\u2019 imprisonment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2 data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">What is known about Valentina Moloda and her accomplice<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Valentyna Moloda<\/strong> found herself at the centre of an investigation after <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/main-news\/petropavlivska-borshchahivka-viyskovi-zaruchnyky\/\">events in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka<\/a>, where, on 2 November, around a hundred people gathered outside a private house that was being used to temporarily house National Guard personnel.<\/p>\n<p>The woman in question is a 49-year-old resident of Kyiv who claimed to be the owner of the private ambulance service \u00abMed-Prestige\u00bb. She was accompanied by <strong>Serhiy Radzytskyi<\/strong>, who, according to journalists\u2019 reports, had previously left his military unit without authorisation.<\/p>\n<p>During a press briefing on 3 November, officials from the Ministry of the Interior stated that the woman and her companion may have been providing paid services to remove men from the locations where conscripts or military personnel were being held, following their unauthorised absence from their units.<\/p>\n<p>According to the investigation, on this occasion they received an order from a relative of a serviceman who, following a special military operation, had been taken to a National Guard deployment base.<\/p>\n<p>Journalists from \u00abSlidstvo.Info\u00bb have established that the company \u00abMed-Prestizh\u00bb, whose name was displayed on the ambulance, ceased trading back in 2023. Its former owner confirmed the sale of the vehicle but denied any connection with Moloda\u2019s actions.<\/p>\n<h2>How a protest escalated into mass unrest<\/h2>\n<p>According to law enforcement officials, at around 11.00 on 2 November, Moloda, accompanied by an accomplice, arrived at the National Guard building and began a live stream on TikTok.<\/p>\n<p>Reports began to circulate on social media alleging that men were being unlawfully detained and tortured in a basement. Subsequently, around a hundred people gathered outside the building, including relatives of the servicemen.<\/p>\n<p>At around 4.30 pm, the situation escalated. According to the police, some of those present attempted to force their way onto the premises, damaged cars and resisted the police. Shots were fired during the clashes.<\/p>\n<p>There were 26 people in the building at the time \u2014 conscripted soldiers awaiting further deployment to their units, as well as soldiers returning from the special military operation.<\/p>\n<p>The commander of the National Guard arrived on the scene to resolve the conflict <strong>Oleksandr Pivnenko<\/strong>, senior police officials and <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/suspilstvo\/budanov-borshchahivka-sutychky-rozsliduvannia\/\">Head of the President\u2019s Office<\/a> <strong>Kirill Budanov<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>What charges have been brought and what punishment is they face?<\/h2>\n<p>According to law enforcement officials, Valentyna Molodiy and her alleged accomplice are charged with offences relating to the organisation of mass disturbances, resisting law enforcement officers, obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the unlawful dissemination of information regarding the deployment of military units.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation is examining their actions within the context of <strong>Articles 294, 342, 114-1 and 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to law enforcement officials, the suspects face up to eight years\u2019 imprisonment.<\/p>\n<p>The SBU has also identified around a hundred participants in the clashes. Law enforcement officers are conducting investigations to determine the role of each of them.<\/p>\n<h2>The State Bureau of Investigation is conducting a separate inquiry into the actions of National Guard personnel<\/h2>\n<p>At the same time, the State Bureau of Investigations has opened criminal proceedings into allegations that military personnel may have exceeded their official powers.<\/p>\n<p>We are talking about...<strong>paragraph 5 of Article 426-1<\/strong> The Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigators must establish the legality of the military personnel\u2019s accommodation in the house, the conditions of their stay, and verify reports of the possible use of coercion.<\/p>\n<p>The National Guard confirmed that the building had been used to temporarily house military personnel. Meanwhile, four men with visible injuries were taken to hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The Military Ombudsman\u2019s Office has also launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Law enforcement agencies are therefore conducting separate investigations into the alleged organisation of disturbances and possible violations of military personnel\u2019s rights.
