Cabinet of Ministers expands grounds for compensation to families of fallen soldiers<\/h2>\n

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a decision that expands the list of persons and cases<\/strong>, under which the families of killed or missing servicemen are entitled to compensation for unused holiday leave<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Who is entitled to compensation<\/h3>\n

From now on, the payments apply not only to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also to all military formations and special forces with law enforcement functions<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n

    The National Guard,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    The State Border Guard Service,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    State Special Communications,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    SBU,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    The National Police, etc.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    New terms of receipt<\/h3>\n

    The government's decision involves several important changes:<\/p>\n

      Compensation can be obtained even in cases of captivity, internment or disappearance.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      A serviceman may independently determine the identity of<\/strong>, which will be paid after his death.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      The parents, spouse, children and dependents of the deceased are also entitled to compensation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Procedure for submitting and reviewing applications<\/h3>\n

      The application for payment is submitted by a family member or a designated person.
