During this period, trains arrived at and departed from Pidzamche station, located in the centre of Lviv.<\/p>\n<p>The transport operator apologised to passengers for the sudden changes and unavoidable delays. The initial statement did not specify the exact causes of the technical problems.<\/p>\n<h2>Traffic to the station has resumed, but trains are running late<\/h2>\n<p>At 11.28, the Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported that services to Lviv-Holovnyi station had resumed, citing Ukrzaliznytsia.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, railway staff have warned that the repair work will take place whilst trains continue to run. According to the company\u2019s warning, delays on the Lviv route could be up to five hours.<\/p>\n<p>However, the actual delays on some services had already exceeded this figure. According to data from the official Ukrzaliznytsia service, updated at 12:08, train No. 1\/2 from Kharkiv to Rakhiv was delayed by 7 hours 37 minutes, whilst train No. 15\/16 from Kharkiv to Chernivtsi was delayed by 7 hours and 18 minutes.
