Low-income families will receive winter assistance of UAH 6.5 thousand - Ministry of Social Policy<\/h2>\n

Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Alexander Ulyutin<\/strong> said that the government had decided to payment of a one-off winter allowance<\/strong> low-income families.<\/p>\n

\u00abThis year we are allocating targeted support for low-income families. Each family will receive 6.5 thousand hryvnias<\/strong> to prepare for the cold season,\u00bb said Ulyutin.<\/p>\n

Who will receive assistance<\/h3>\n

They are eligible for payments:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • \n

    Families registered as low-income people<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    recipients of state child benefit<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    internally displaced persons with low incomes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Payments will be made by through social security authorities<\/strong> or to the recipients' bank accounts<\/strong> within the framework of existing assistance programmes.<\/p>\n

    Programme objective<\/h3>\n

    As explained by the Ministry of Social Policy, the decision was made to Mitigation of socio-economic impacts<\/strong> tariff increases and seasonal increases in energy prices.<\/p>\n

    \u00abWe want to ensure that no Ukrainian family is left without warmth and support during this difficult period,\u00bb the Minister stressed.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    When payments will start<\/h3>\n
