Military targets in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Donetsk regions, as well as within Russia itself, were hit. Among the targets was a temporary deployment and command post for the \u00abRubicon\u00bb unit\u2019s UAVs in occupied Berdiansk.<\/p>\n<div class=\"news-summary-box\"><strong>Briefly about the main points<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The defence forces reported that four command posts had been hit by Russian drones.<\/li>\n<li>The strikes were carried out in the occupied territories of three regions of Ukraine and in Russia.<\/li>\n<li>In Berdiansk, one of the targets was the deployment and control centre for the \u00abRubicon\u00bb UAV.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2>A Russian \u00abRubicon\u00bb facility has been hit in Berdyansk\u00bb<\/h2>\n<p>One of the targets of the Ukrainian strikes was a temporary deployment and control centre for drones belonging to a unit of the Russian \u00abRubicon\u00bb centre. The facility is located in the temporarily occupied city of Berdiansk in the Zaporizhzhia region. This was reported on 8 November by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abRubicon\u00bb is a specialised Russian unit dedicated to the deployment of unmanned systems. Its units utilise attack and reconnaissance drones, take part in combat operations and refine tactics for the deployment of UAVs.<\/p>\n<p>The centre also plays a role in training operators and introducing new unmanned warfare technologies. The Russian command deploys its units across various sections of the front line.<\/p>\n<h2>Facilities in four regions were hit<\/h2>\n<p>As well as Berdyansk, the Ukrainian military carried out strikes on <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/main-news\/udary-po-skladah-rf-krym-donechchyna\/\">UAV control centres<\/a> in the occupied territories of the Kherson and Donetsk regions, as well as within the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n<p>Drone control centres are used to organise the work of operators, coordinate flights and relay information between units. Their destruction could temporarily disrupt drone operations and force Russian troops to relocate their equipment and personnel.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the actual impact of the strikes on the operations of Russian drone units will depend on the nature of the damage and the ability to quickly restore the control systems.<\/p>\n<h2>Defence forces are continuing to strike at the infrastructure of Russian UAVs<\/h2>\n<p>The Ukrainian military regularly attacks sites where Russian drones are stored, prepared and launched, as well as command centres and operator training centres.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence, in October alone, units of the Defence Forces struck 20 infrastructure sites used by Russian attack drones and 27 command centres and command-and-observation posts. Among the targets were UAV depots in Berdiansk and gathering points for \u00abRubicon\u00bb personnel in the Zaporizhzhia region.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the General Staff had also confirmed the destruction of this unit\u2019s drone depots in the Volnovakha area of the Donetsk region.<\/p>\n<p>The results of the latest strikes on 8 November are still being assessed. There are currently no official figures on the number of drones, operators or equipment at Russian command centres that have been
