Two NH-90 military helicopters were subsequently deployed to monitor the situation. Residents in the eastern part of the Romanian county of Tulcea received an emergency alert via the RO-Alert system. The object was in Ukrainian airspace.<\/p>\n<p>To assess the situation, two F-18 fighter jets from the Spanish Air Force, which are on airspace patrol duties, were scrambled from the 57th \u00abMihail Kogalniceanu\u00bb Air Base<a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/politics\/rosiia-umovy-myru-dmytriiev-pavliuchenko-nato\/\"> NATO<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly afterwards, the first target disappeared from the radars east of the Romanian town of Sulina.<\/p>\n<p>Following this, surveillance systems detected another aerial object approximately 55 kilometres west of Zmiinyi. Two Spanish NH-90 helicopters took off from the same airbase to monitor it.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #111111; font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: 27px;\">An air raid alert has been issued in Romania<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>After the first target was identified, the National Military Command Centre alerted the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations to a potential danger to the public.<\/p>\n<p>At 14:02, residents of the eastern part of Tulcea County received an alert via the RO-Alert system. This region is situated near the Ukrainian border and the Danube Delta.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Romanian state television channel TVR, <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/world\/dron-bilya-yagodyna-tryvoga-polshcha\/\">air raid alert<\/a> It was called off at 15:26. The mission is scheduled to run until the end of November 2026.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Romania regularly scrambles fighter jets in response to aerial targets near the Ukrainian border.
