National Bank of Ukraine plans to tax international parcels up to \u20ac150<\/h2>\n

The National Bank of Ukraine initiated the introduction of taxation of international parcels<\/strong>, the cost of which does not exceed 150 euros<\/strong>.
This was reported by the newspaper \u00abMinfin\u00bb<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The regulator believes that this step will help Reduce imports of consumer and non-critical goods<\/strong>, that are currently creating a significant burden on the country's balance of payments<\/strong> in a time of war.<\/p>\n

The NBU explains that the current exemption allows importing a significant amount of goods without paying taxes, which leads to losses for the state budget<\/strong> and Increase in the current account deficit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
