The extension of the validity of foreign passports has been cancelled<\/h2>\n

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that from 29 October 2025<\/strong> the provision that allowed extend the validity of foreign passports<\/strong> during the period of martial law.
Now citizens of Ukraine must obtain a new passport<\/strong>, if the previous one was \u201cextended\u201d after its expiry date.<\/p>\n

Where you can replace a document<\/h3>\n

Travelling outside Ukraine only allowed with a valid biometric passport<\/strong>.
Ukrainians who are abroad can issue a new document at the consular offices of Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
