UAH 10 billion for the \u201cwinter thousand\u201d<\/h2>\n

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated UAH 10 billion<\/strong> for a one-time payment programme called \u00abwinter thousand\u00bb<\/strong>.
This was reported by Minister of Social Policy Oleg Ulyutin<\/strong> during a briefing in Kyiv.<\/p>\n

According to him, about 10 million citizens will be able to receive assistance<\/strong>, The company's main target groups include pensioners, low-income families, internally displaced persons and lonely elderly people.<\/p>\n

\u00abWe want every Ukrainian to have an additional financial resource during the winter period, when heating, energy and medicine costs are rising,\u00bb said Ulyutin.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

How to get a \u201cwinter thousand\u201d<\/h3>\n

Payments are scheduled to begin in December 2025.
The transfer will be made through The Pension Fund of Ukraine<\/strong> and \u201cAction\u201d<\/strong> - for those who have digital bank accounts.
Citizens who do not use electronic services will receive funds through Oschadbank<\/strong> or post offices.<\/p>\n

The Ministry is also preparing information campaign<\/strong>, to explain how to apply for and verify eligibility.<\/p>\n

Programme prerequisites<\/h3>\n

The Winter Thousand initiative is part of the State strategy of social support for the population<\/strong> in times of energy instability and economic difficulties.
