Ka-226 helicopter crashes into a residential building in Dagestan, killing at least four people<\/h2>\n

In the republic Dagestan<\/strong> helicopter Ka-226<\/strong> fell directly on a residential building in a mountain village Hunzah<\/strong>.
On board were seven people<\/strong>, including Employees of the Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant<\/strong>, which is part of the Russian defence complex.
According to preliminary data, four people were killed<\/strong>, Three people were injured.<\/p>\n

After the fall, there was a powerful fire<\/strong>, The fire was extinguished for several hours.<\/p>\n

Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant produces control systems, diagnostics and on-board equipment<\/strong> for combat aircraft \u00abSukhoi and MiG\u00bb<\/strong>, that Russia uses to strikes on the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine<\/strong>.
The company is under EU, US and UK sanctions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Causes of the accident<\/h3>\n

Russian media reported that the crew was carrying out Unscheduled flight in mountainous terrain<\/strong>, when the connection is lost.
Preliminarily, the accident could have occurred due to piloting error or technical malfunction<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
