How the app works<\/h2>\n

According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation<\/strong>, citizens of Ukraine who have generators with a capacity of from 7.2 kW<\/strong>, can receive payment for connecting to the base stations of mobile operators<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The payment rate is from 110 to 140 UAH per hour of generator operation<\/strong>, depending on the power and duration of the connection.<\/p>\n

The programme operates on the platform generator.thedigital.gov.ua<\/a>, where you can register your device, check the available stations in your region and apply to participate.<\/p>\n

Why it matters<\/h2>\n

The project aims to improve the stability of mobile communications<\/strong> during the long power outages<\/strong> in the autumn and winter period.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Digital Transformation notes that even a few hundred connected private generators will provide connectivity in critical regions<\/strong>, when the mains power is not available.<\/p>\n

Economic feasibility<\/h2>\n

With current petrol and diesel prices, paying 110-140 UAH\/hour can partially or fully cover fuel costs<\/strong>, depending on the efficiency of the generator.<\/p>\n
