New bill could bring Russian back into the service and science sectors<\/h2>\n

People's Deputy Vladimir Viatrovich<\/strong> said. State Service for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience<\/strong> sent for approval a draft law that could actually return the Russian language to the sphere of services, science and education<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The essence of the document<\/h3>\n

According to the MP, the draft law provides for \u201cexpanding opportunities for the use of national minority languages\u201d<\/strong>, but in fact restores the privileged status of the Russian language<\/strong>, This may contradict the Law of Ukraine \u201cOn Ensuring the Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as the State Language\u201d.<\/p>\n
