Orban: Hungary will not comply with EU migration pact<\/h2>\n

Prime Minister Viktor Orban<\/strong> said. Hungary will not comply with the provisions of the new EU migration pact<\/strong>, which is due to enter into force in 2026. He said this in an interview with local media, commenting on Brussels' migration policy.<\/p>\n

\u00abWe will not accept migrants and we will not spend money on it. Hungarians will decide for themselves who to let into their country,\u00bb Orban said.<\/p>\n

The Orb\u00e1n government has repeatedly criticised Brussels<\/strong> for \u00abcoercive migration policy\u00bb and refused to participate in refugee redistribution programmes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In May, the European Parliament adopted the final version of the pact regulating border procedures, the return of illegal migrants and financial solidarity of the EU countries.<\/p>\n
