President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy<\/strong> said that Russia is purposefully preparing for a major war against Europe. According to him, Russia plans to achieve full military capability to deploy large-scale hostilities between 2029 and 2030<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Zelenskyy stressed that these years could be critical for the security of the entire European continent if partners do not strengthen defence capabilities and increase support for Ukraine.<\/p>\n The President stressed that the Russian military-industrial complex is increasing production, modernising weapons and increasing mobilisation resources.<\/p>\n According to him, the Kremlin is working to be ready for a direct confrontation with NATO and the EU, and the attack on Ukraine is only part of a broader strategy of revanchism.<\/p>\n Zelenskyy also noted that Western partners should take this perspective into account when formulating defence policy and planning long-term assistance to Kyiv.<\/p>\n European intelligence agencies have previously warned of Russia's plans to build up resources and the potential risk of a direct clash with NATO in the coming years.<\/p>\n Against this backdrop, EU countries and the Alliance are increasing their defence budgets, stepping up military exercises and working to strengthen the defence of
